Oral History

Stories of prominent contributors to the communications industry

The first 10 of these recordings form part of the South Australian Institute of Radio and Electronics Engineers "Oral History" Project that was undertaken in 1992. The 11th recording is the story of Ernest Fisk, recorded to celebrate "World Radio Day" on 13th February, 2012 and was broadcast on ABC Radio National that day. It is reproduced here by courtesy of the ABC.

With thanks to the State Library of South Australia, The HRSASA was able to purchase an Audio Casette copy of this collection of interviews which are presented here for the benefit of members.

They are available to the general public from the J. D. Somerville Oral History Collection at the State Library of South Australia.
